Tuesday, June 15th, 7:05 pm vs. the Forest City Owls (Away, CPL)
The Spartanburgers head across state lines to battle the Owls. Though this writer hopes the following statement doesn’t jinx the team, the Beef Boyz have recently had the Owls’ feathers. The Spartanburgers have won the past two games by a combined score of 22-5.
Thursday, June 17th, 7:05 pm vs. Piedmont Pride (Home, Exhibition)
This Thursday, in addition to 7-innings of exhibition baseball, fans will see a double-stacked night of fun at Historic Duncan Park. As is tradition, every Thursday game will be a combo of Thirsty Thursday and Dogs & Burgers Night. Deals on concession include $1 for 12 oz. cans of soda and $1.00 for 12 oz. Bud Light or Ultras. On Dogs & Burgers Nights, fans are encouraged to bring their four-legged friend to enjoy a night out at the park. All we ask is that owners bring along paperwork showing proof of rabies vaccination and that patrons clean up after their pet.
Thursday, June 17th, 7:05 pm vs. the Lexington County Blowfish (Away, CPL)
The Blowfish and the Spartanburgers are tied in the league standings, with the Blowfish holding a 2-1 season series lead. Both teams will look to solidify their positioning as a top 3 team in the CPL Western conference with a win here.
Friday, June 18th, 7:05 pm vs. Savannah Bananas (Home, CPL)
The Yellow-Fellas return to Historic Duncan Park, as the Spartanburgers look to get some revenge and finally put a loss on the Bananas’ record. Per Friday tradition, the first 200 fans will receive free posters at the gate. To make this game extra saucy, the Spartanburgers will be wearing their “Medium-Rare” Specialty Jerseys. These jerseys will be auctioned off in a silent auction, in-game, with all the proceeds going to the Spartanburg Branch of Secord Harvest Metrolina. Any jersey that does not sell at the game will then be available for purchase online.
Saturday, June 19th, 7:05 pm vs. Piedmont Pride (Home, Exhibition)
This Saturday will be our first giveaway of the season! The first 200 fans will be able to keep their drinks cool all summer long by receiving a Spartanburgers’ Koozie. In addition to cold beer, fans will also enjoy 7-innings of exhibition baseball at Historic Duncan Park. Unfortunately, due to issues with supply lines outside of the Spartanburgers’ control, the pint glass giveaway has been switched with the koozie giveaway. The Spartanburgers apologize for the confusion and appreciate your understanding.
Saturday, June 19th, 7:05 pm vs. Savannah Bananas (Away, CPL)
Hopefully, after the previous night’s win, the Spartanburgers will look to break even in the season series against the Savannah Bananas. In the case of a loss, the Spartanburgers will be looking to get sweet, meaty revenge against the Yellow-Ones.
Sunday, June 20th, 5:05 pm vs. Macon Bacon (Home, CPL)
A protein-packed day of action will come at you this Sunday. The Spartanburgers and the Bacon will play a 7-inning doubleheader to make up for a previous rainout. Fundays include the Beef Boyz wearing the fan-favorite teal jerseys, kids running the bases after the game, and kids 12 & under eating their first meal on us.
